Rain, Rain, Go Away...
Come again another day... actually, on second thought, no. Don't come again another day. Just leave. Please
On the bright side, only 18 more days until House of Hades comes out! :D
I should probably reread the series though because I kind of forgot everything... oops :P

Clouds In the Sky
Sorry for all the random pictures, I think I'll post a picture of a tree soon (random, I know, but it looks pretty) and maybe a picture of the moon because today is the Mid-Autumn Festival, a Chinese festival celebrated during a full moon or something.

Friday the 13th!... of September
Well of course, on Friday the 13th, I decide to walk out of a room and then hit my wrist on the doorknob. Of course. Especially the one with the ganglion cyst on it... >.<

Stupid Bus
Title says it all.
Well actually not really. The bus took about an hour to get to my stop, the SECOND stop. Basically, the bus situation was really screwed up because of all the people from sports coming on today.

Top 7 Reasons Why I Cried During Up
This does have spoilers so if you haven't watched the movie yet don't read it because then it'll just make you cry at the most unnecessary parts thinking about the sad parts... it's complicated...
7. On my second time watching the movie, when they showed all of the happy memories that Ellie and Carl created, I started bawling even before they showed the ultimate Ellie scene.
6. When Carl showed up for Russell's Wilderness Explorer patch meeting thing and gave him the grape soda pin.
5. THE GRAPE SODA PIN

4. When Russell said that Phyllis wasn't his mother.
3. Carl flipping through Ellie's Adventure Book and seeing all the memories she ended up putting in it.
2. Ummmm for those of you who watched this you probably know that Ellie passed away and left Carl alone to find a way to Paradise Falls.
1. And finally here's the part where I completely, totally lost it: when they showed that the Up house actually landed in the exact place next to Paradise Falls that Carl and Ellie had dreamed of. This was probably one of the saddest yet happiest moments of the movie because the sad part was that neither of them got to witness it or live next to Paradise Falls, but the happy part was that their dream came true.
Ugh I'm almost crying right now just thinking about that scene...
Either way if you haven't watched Up and read through all of these spoilers OR you only watched Up once or twice, I would suggest watching it again. It's such a good and timeless movie and I guarantee it will be worth it. :')

Nametags and Nametents and Icebreaker Games
Unless you're in elementary school (though I do know of some teachers who do these things) you have probably been forced to play a bingo icebreaker game or make a nametag for your class on the first day of school.
Really.
Bingo games are worse, in my opinion, because they just take place during class and require you to socialize. But my teacher's rules make it even worse. We were forced to shake hands (but nobody really did it... oops) and say some cheesy lines like "Hi, I'm (insert name here), and I'd like to get to know you better" and "Well it was nice reconnecting with you, (insert name here)!"
Oh man. That was a long period even for a Wednesday schedule.
Now come nametags. I think I only have two classes making me do these things, but they're pretty fun in my opinion. But that same teacher who made up all those crazy rules for icebreaker bingo also has requirements for our nametags. We have to include 4 different things from a sheet onto a little tiny piece of paper. Ugh. But I still like drawing and art and stuff so it is all okay. :P
I'll post a picture when I finish!

Almost Missed Today's!
Okay well today's blog post is going to be a rant. Since school started and all, I figured why not start the year off by talking about the new school rules and my schedule.
So the school rules have changed a lot since last year. I don't remember if 8th graders were required to have lockers last year but one good thing is that we are given the option to have one. I hated mine last year because it kept on jamming and everything fell out onto the person below me (sorry! :( ). But that's the single good thing about the rule changes. The lunchtime rules are absolutely ridiculous. For starters, we're required to raise our hands whenever we want to throw our trash away... we're just required to raise our hands whenever we want to do anything. Even use the bathroom. And get dismissed.
Now to talk about my schedule. As some of you may know, I play both flute and piano, and last year I put band at the very top of my list for electives. I guess the people in the office didn't see it or something because now I have orchestra instead of band. And frankly if I was put in orchestra and I had to stay there then I would just screw the whole orchestra over. That, or I would air-bow. :P
Sigh... and I was so excited for today...

Chinstrap Penguins
So a while ago (back in May) I did a painting of two chinstrap penguins with acrylic paint. It was for one of my friends who absolutely LOVES penguins, especially chinstrap penguins.
In the picture that I took of it, it's hard to see all of the parts that I whited out because I messed up and painted outside of the lines. I basically outlined everything in white paint because it was all so messy.
Well, happy labor day for everybody in the U.S.!

One Post Every Day in September?
I was thinking that this probably could happen... until about the middle of September because of school starting and homework and all that jazz. But let's see... 1 down, 29 to go! :P
